Water is what inspires many of the paintings in these series.

Its stillness and depth, it’s power and flow, its shape and its colour.

I believe we are grounded by nature. And when I immerse myself in earth’s natural elements, my goal as a painter is to try and express and extract and convey the depth that I see and feel. 

Many inspirations are found where I live, in Toronto by the shores of Lake Ontario, as well as beyond the city, where an abundance of lakes and forests, rivers and waterfalls provide enrichment and natural beauty.
